Question #1:
dreams of what I think may be the after life?
I had some strange dreams i was in a place which had a walk way to the right side of a hill and up the top I could see other souls I think standing around in a area which could only be described as closed gates I got scared and walk back down the path way at the end was a pond with the most beautiful color water I stared into it there was this weird white thing swimming in the water I watch it for awhile then reached down and grabbed it and suddenly work up like I had a massive shock. Have had this dream three times the last two time I have head straight for the pond and shock my self back. Another dream which was scary I went to find my child everything was dirty and red and there was these strange looking guards i think they were rounding up what seem to be souls I think. I remember grabbing my child and running and jumping these odd things that looked like trains. Bit worried about last dream which i keep have of being in a green house near a school on a high hill. I keep seeing me hit a guy with a golf club to the head and killing him then hiding his body. I not at all a violent person love nature grow heaps of trees so very odd. Whats your thoughtsQuestion #2:
I need help improving?? Barrel racers answer too?
I really really want to improve my riding ability. I want to do things like barrel racing. I can't afford a trainer right now and really don't feel lessons are going to help with my balance and such. It's western, not English riding. How can I improve my skills, balance, abilities in general? I'm a little overweight right now (had too many babies! But I'm not large by any means). Does that have much to do with things? Where do you start with improving? I like to excel at things I do! I plan on purchasing a new horse soon, a barrel racing prospect. It will be a step up from the gentle little pony/horse I ride now. Do I learn from the school of hard knocks? Falling and getting back on?I know, lots of questions....I just need to cross that bridge from beginner to intermediate rider. I'm already better at balance, handling and training than some others I know who have been riding for several years, so I'm not one of those floppy, butt and legs everywhere riders.
Any tips, constructive criticism, and info or advice is gratefully appreciated!
It's called baby belly heavy- good point about not developing bad habits-I already have had an unbroke horse, broke and trained him myself and he's super gentle and non spooky. Which is why I need to improve on something else. He's TOO tame to learn anything on anymore.
I didn't mean to come across as "being too good" for lessons....sorry. I just know that there aren't any decent places where I live for lessons on barrel. But I did contact a very good racer and she may give me beginner lessons. I don't want a "real" barrel horse to start with. I think I need to work on me first so I may not be a good match for something with that much speed. I was thinking a nice beginner seedy horse. But after I talk to this lady again (the barrel racer) I will know more about what to buy. Also, I know it isn't cheap...But it is worth it to me to try because I want it.
Question #3:
the optical illusion for right brain vs left. ballerina spinning?
Im trying to understand if being able to control it means i can switch on my right or left side of my brain. What i found out is my brain reverts back to it original state after i change after a few min's. What i want to know is if you can train your self to be able too only use the right brain and then revert and only use the left using this optical illusion and holding which side i want to use for long periods of time. The practical applications for this could change the way we learn or at lest the way i learn lol. imagine being able to write something using only your left brain then reverting and reviewing its message with your right. the fact is i don't know if this is possible using this illusion? Could someone explain if this is a viable solution to being able to do thislook at the bottom of her feet then in your mind reverse the direction she is going it should be easier this way
after you try it for awhile it becomes easy and you can do it at will.
Question #4:
Would a polytunnel be suitable for the Melbourne climate?
I want to build a polytunnel in my backyard for growing herbs, vegetables, etc.Just wondering if it would be rather pointless as the main reason (as far as I can tell) for use would be to keep out the cold, as in England and the like. It does get cold (by my standards), but I don't know if it's cold enough to warrant a polytunnel. I'm about 30 minutes from the city by train, in the south to south-east area. Not by the water or anything either.
I love the idea of being able to keep away the birds and also some of the more harsh rain and wind.
What do you think?
Also, where would I go about finding supplies to build one? Instructions? Premade ones?
Have you found any websites with detailed instructions?
Question #5:
Are my kittens going to settle down?
I recently adopted two kittens (they're litter mates), they're around 11 weeks old now and they are rambunctious! They nip/bite, they chew, they fight and chase each other, they claw and they eat and sleep. They're still a little too young to get de-clawed just yet but that will solve my problem of them clawing things. I know that they're only kittens and still young but when can i expect them to mellow out? Do you have any good training methods?Question #6:

Question #7:
Renting with a dog - has anyone gotten away with hiding it? Esp. in Australia?
Ok I know it's not ideal, so please don't waste your or my time telling me that. I would not be doing this if I had other options. I have a doberman, a very well trained and friendly one and I love him like a family member. I got him when my grandfather died because I inherited a lot of money and knew I would be able to afford a house so I could keep him. Until then, I was living with my mum and it was all fine because she loved the dog too. However, she found a new bf who hates me and the dog, and unfortunately, she is siding with him and there's nothing I can do about that. So I was kicked out about 2 weeks ago. I can not access the money I inherited until next year, as it is in trust fund. And I got the dog whilst I was still at uni because I wanted to be able to spend a lot of time training him when he was young and I thought my mum would support me.I have since been staying with friends, carting the dog around with me, but it's not really viable for a year. I earn enough to be able to rent just about anywhere, but, no-one will rent to me because I have a dog, or they will only accept small dogs. I have his training and vet certificates, and a billion cute photos, but in Sydney, the rental market is terrible and tenants have plenty of choices so they never choose the person with the doberman. I have been looking for over 2 weeks now and I just don't have a lot of time left. So I feel like I have 2 options. Either, I have to give my dog up - though I don't honestly think I could do it, I'd be living in my car before I did, or, I rent somewhere and just don't tell them.
He doesn't have the doggy smell, he is perfectly house trained and doesn't destroy anything but his toys, he only barks once or twice when someone approaches the house, and not at all if he knows them - you rarely hear him bark. But he is big, and I don't think it's possible that people just won't notice him. I walk him every day so people will see him leaving and returning to the house. And people are terribly prejudiced against dobermans and big dogs in general. So I don't know what to do.
Has anyone been in this situation? And if so, what did you do? Do you think I could get away with hiding him? Or do you think that say I did hide him but he was discovered a couple of months down the track that they'd let me stay anyway because I always pay rent on time and improved the condition of the property - like made the garden nicer and always kept it clean?
Just please don't tell me I'm stupid for even considering it, I have no other choice that I can think of :(
I have been paying rent to my friends. But they all live in apartments where pets are also not allowed - I have been hiding the dog and moving around often. The properties I am looking at moving into are houses so have room for a dog, the tenants just don't want one there.
Question #8:
Why are Amtrak tickets so ridiculously expensive?
My boyfriend and I live 4 hours apart (by car) and a one-way ticket costs anything from $83 to over $100! That's ridiculous! If I drive, I probably burn less than $50 in gas...isn't taking the train supposed to be cheaper? My other option is to take a bus halfway and then a train, which comes out to $50 as well. What's up with craptrak?Btw those are prices for their regular trains, not slow-cela...

What animal kung fu style am I?
Hi,I am having a lot of trouble deciding which animal style suits me physically and mentally. I am 14, slightly taller than average. I weigh 56kg. I have a lean, muscular build from regular shaolin kung fu training. My personality is quite intense and I think that knowledge is power. I am not aggressive and in a fight I would win on the counterattack. I think I might be a dragon or a snake but I am not sure.
Please share your thoughts about this and help me decide which animal style I am.
Thanks

Question #15:
When do USMC officers have time for graduate degrees?
I would like to join the USMC as an officer. I've been training myself to hopefully pass the challenges of OCS. I was just wondering when it would be possible for a USMC officer to seek an advanced degree, and if such a degree would have to be online or would it be possible to do it in person (which would depend on which base he or she is located at). I'm thinking in terms of either years or rank. I don't know if being, say, a Major would permit someone (in time) to seek a degree over...say...a Lieutenant or Captain.Question #16:

Question #20:
Crazy survivalists in the woods...What do I do?
They creep around the woods in military gear/camo and do gay little pretend training drills; shooting at targets where the fired rounds can intersect hiking and game trails. To cap it off, they wear no orange blaze at all. It is a completely dangerous and selfish use of public hunting grounds. I've informed the forest ranger but he is a fat phuque who won't go anywhere his truck won't - essentially he does nothing. I'm afraid that either I'm going to get shot by one of these losers or that I won't see them and accidentally shoot (at) them. What do I do?
